I have fallen way behind on my A to Z posts this year due to added work and travel, but I will get them all! This year I am doing signs that I have seen across the country. This post will feature signs associated with the Letter U. ENJOY THE RIDE!
We can’t avoid signs. They are everywhere. Advertisements, informational signs, directional signs, business signs and, sometimes, even humorous and fun signs. Each of my posts in this years’ challenge will feature a hodgepodge of signs I have come across in my travels. In most cases, I’ll also note where they were taken. Some were actually inside of shops or otherwise, so not all will have locations. I hope you enjoy the remainder of my posts as get to them in May.
Don’t Underestimate the value of U. There are not nearly as many signs with the letter U as the main one, but I have found a few. So, here U go!
Out in the middle of Wyoming along US 14/16 there is a small artist colony called UCross.
Then there is the small little town on the border of Texas and Louisiana called Uncertain.
From here, let’s scooch on up to the middle of Missouri on old Route 66 where you can pick Uranus as a destination. This larger than life tourist destination is home to the Uranus Fudge Factory and a whole bunch more. In fact, since my last visit back in January 2020, Mayor Louie Keen has added so much more.
Then there is an Upper for you….
And finally, let’s not forget my “home state” of Utah!
If U think my posts are Unusual and Unique…which I hope U do, then check out my books on Amazon.
